At Elite Floorcraft, we use a Bona Atomic PDC dust containment system to sand and refinish hardwood floors. Our process involves sanding the floors to a fine cut and applying three coats of polyurethane. Between each coat, the floors get buffed (lightly sanded). For the first two coats, high gloss finish is used. This gives the floors durability. The final coat can be gloss, semi-gloss, or satin. We use only the best oil based and water based finishes.
Hardwood Floor Staining
By staining your hardwood floors, you can add character and depth to them. We can stain your floors using standard oil based stains or we can get creative and mix stains to a color of your choice. We also use aniline dyes to attain a variety of colors.
